The Assessment Interview

Before you make the decision to allow Senior Helpers into your life, we first schedule a complimentary in-home visit to assess the specific needs of your loved one. During this interview, we will discuss who we are and strive to get to know you and your loved one better. We will go over a basic service plan that will be designed just for your loved one, and we'll set some goals for what you would like to achieve through the service. We'll talk about the actual implementation of the care that your loved one will receive, and outline an ongoing follow-up plan.

Registered Nurse Visit

If you decide that Senior Helpers is right for you, it may be necessary for our Director of Client Care, a registered nurse, to meet with you. This is not necessary in all cases, but if it is, she will conduct a full nursing assessment and help to design a care plan specifically for your loved one.

Caregiver Selection and Care Plan Design

The next step is to find which of our highly professional caregivers will fit your loved one best. We keep an extensive catalog of each caregiver's experience, skill set, and personality to ensure the best possible match. Once the caregiver is selected, he or she will implement your loved one's personal care plan.

Service Implementation

Within a few days of the assessment interview, your loved one's in-home care will commence. To make sure that everything is just the way you want it, a representative from Senior Helpers will contact you to confirm the care plan, caregiver, and the date you would like the services to start.

Ongoing Follow-up

Every member of our dedicated staff understands the needs of seniors and stands ready to deliver competent, compassionate care. To insure that it stays that way, our Director of Client Care and Client Service Manager oversee every one of our companions and aides. The Director of Client Care will visit your loved one on a regular basis to check the quality of care and ensure that the caregiver is following the care plan. If you ever have questions, our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to assist you and your loved one.
